In order to protect the health and safety of employees, staff, and students, all those who access Pasco County School locations must self-screen for symptoms and other risk factors of COVID-19 daily. If you answer YES to any of the questions, you should NOT be on a school campus or school district office. All three self-screeners – the Student Self-Screener, the Employee Self-Screener, and the Visitor Self-Screener – are accessible from the district’s COVID-19 protocols page and are posted on each school web page.

FEMA is recruiting young leaders for our national Youth Preparedness Council (YPC). Students in 8th through 11th grade from communities across the Southeast may now apply for FEMA’s national YPC. The Council provides an opportunity for young leaders to share their perspectives, feedback and opinions related to disaster preparedness with FEMA and grow their leadership skills.

Interested teens may apply online at All applications and supporting materials must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. PST, on March 7. Students who apply for the national YPC also will be considered for Region IV’s YPC.
